Its been a while since i blogged, there are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, i had to take some holiday and spend some time with the wife and kids. Secondly my lad has been in hospital having surgery recently, so my attention was away from work. Thirdly weve been so busy at work on my return that this is really the first chance ive had to sit down and blog.
Where to start. Ok well Hoist Portfolio Holding 2 Limited have been discontinuing hand over fist, on the cases they have took to trial theyve lost as can be seen from my last blog.
Weve had a number of successful outcomes in landbanking, this is briefly where companies sold plots of land to consumers where the expectations were overinflated and false promises were often given etc. Where the customer paid using their credit cards to pay either the deposit or the balance (as long as it was over £100) then the creditor can be liable to repay the monies.
There will be some news on the PRA group in due course.
NRAM, well the ball is now rolling on this too. It took longer than we anticipated, but NRAM is a project that will be a marathon not a sprint. The CFA no win no fee funding docs have gone out to those whose cases have been selected as the first test cases. To the others who have been in touch we will be writing out soon too. If anyone has any questions about NRAM just email either myself or James.
ill be updating the blog when i get a few minutes over the weekend with some further info.
